Casey Piquette

Hey Everyone!!
I am Casey Piquette, from the United States! I study at Purdue University in Indiana, but Detroit, Michigan is my hometown. Working in Latvia for the Tomorrow Steps project is a great opportunity and I am very happy to be here!
The environment and acting sustainably has always been very important to me. Whether being in school, work, or socializing with friends, I think it is imporant to think about the world around you. I am thrilled to be here in Latvia with 4 other amazing people working on raising awareness about the environment.
Keep checking the blog, and comment! We would love to hear your opinions and encouragement. I look forward to a cleaner and better earth…and of course, good times with AIESEC!!!!

I have enjoyed reading your postings and keeping up with what you are doing. It sounds like all of you are having a very enriching experience in Latvia. That is wonderful!! What is also so great is how the Tomorrow Steps project is benefitting the students from Latvia. Not only are they becoming more aware of environmental issues through the presentations, but the experience of meeting such a great, diverse group of college students will no doubt make a lasting impression on them. Keep up the good work!!!
